2012 Grand Conceptor Award
Project: Natchez Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrades
Owner/Client: City of Natchez

A WGK, Inc., project to install green upgrades at the Natchez Wastewater Treatment Plant in Natchez, Miss., received the Grand Conceptor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (Mississippi) at the 2012 Awards Banquet.

The project utilizes a pair of Parkson Thermo System Solar Dryers to convert tons of accumulated sludge into Class A Exceptional Quality Biosolids, harnessing the power of the sun to cut down on energy costs and produce an environmentally safe soil supplement.
