The Mississippi Department of Transportation selected the team of Joe McGee Construction, Parsons Transportation Group, Burns Cooley Dennis and WGK, Inc., for this Design-Build project to widen interstate bridges around the I-20/I-59 merge area in Meridian. The project included four pairs of bridges on Interstate 20 and three single bridges at the merge area in I-59. Ths $10 million project, part of a dederal safety enhancement program, was carried out in 14 months.
