Gregory Gearhart, PE, BCEE is a registered Professional Engineer, Board Certified Environmental Engineer and Certified Engineer Evaluator. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with more than 30 years of engineering experience, he is a member of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists, Water Environment Federation, Mississippi Water and Pollution Control Operators Assocation and more.
Mr. Gearhart is WGK's lead environmental engineer, specializing in the design and rehabilitation of wastewater treatment facilities. He is a certified Class IV Wastewater Operator and has received special training in Energy Savings Through Design and Controls of Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Advanced Facultative Pond Design, Biological Nutrient Removal, Design/Control Strategies for Simultaneous Nitrification and Denitrification in Wastewater Treatment, Advances in Solids Reduction Processes at Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Food and Beverage Wastewater Treatment and other forms of extensive continuing education in water and wastewater design, operation and maintenance issues. He also serves as an alternate member of the Mississippi State Department of Health's On-Site Wastewater Advisory Committee.
